MAN is a project that explores the idea of man and human being. It is a work at the crossroads between two cultures, Norwegian and South Asian.
Through seriousness and humor MAN portrays individual struggle for inner balance. Award-winning dancer Sudesh Adhana embodies the struggles of a bicultural identity while considering who is he? Where does he come from? MAN unfolds as a dialogue between choreographer, Sølvi Edvardsen (Norway), and dancer, Sudesh Adhana, of South Asian descent, in close collaboration with the composer Kim Sølve, and his group Swarms, and lighting designer, Paul Vidar Ramon Sævarang. Producer: Kirre Arneberg
