Sing-Along Messiah

The 11th Sing-along Messiah Have you ever been to a performance of Handel’s Messiah and wanted to chime in, too? Whether you like to chant, croon, warble or trill – all are welcome to Malaspina Choir’s annual Sing-Along Messiah.

The concert will be led by international award-winning conductor, Fiona Blackburn, members of the Nanaimo Chamber Orchestra and additional professional players, and rising star vocalists Eve-Lyn de la Haye soprano, Erin Lawson mezzo-soprano, Adam Schmidt tenor and Nathan McDonald bass.

Consider brushing off your score and joining the members of Malaspina Choir for your favourite choruses – the choir will be sitting right in the pews with you. If you need a copy of Messiah, scores will be available for a nominal charge.

As well as being a wonderful start to the holiday season, this concert is an important community outreach event, with a portion of the proceeds going to a local charity.
