You will be thoroughly entertained by Nanaimo District Secondary School’s spring production of Curtains. Written by Fred Ebb and with lyrics by John Kander (duo responsible for Chicago and Cabaret), Curtains is sure to be another hit with audiences.

It is a light- hearted show within a show, whodunit sendup of comedic backstage murder mysteries. Set in 1959, a Broadway-bound musical, Robbin Hood, undergoes several setbacks after its unfavourable debut at the Boston Globe Theatre. Will Georgia and Aaron Hendricks, the successful writing team, ever work out their differences and save their marriage?

Will Bambi show Carmen, the producer or the show and her mother, that she is a talented actress worthy of the stage? Can Frank Cioffi, an apt homicide detective and theatre aficionado save this show?
