Come and experience a concert event like none-other! For the first time Opera Nanaimo and Clay Tree Society are partnering to produce an event that combines the beauty and fun of live musical performance with the joy of giving back to the community!
CCCU Community Investment Program is the platinum sponsor for this unique event which will include operatic, broadway, and contemporary favourites performed by a cast of Opera Nanaimo members. There will also be an artisan market, and refreshment garden all hosted in the Clay Tree Society’s back garden.
Featuring: Shante van Horlick, Michael MacKinnon, Andrea Rodall, Wendy Alexander, Carolyn Waye and Adam Dyjach!
Opera Nanaimo was founded in 2013 with the primary purpose to produce and perform timeless operatic works for all music lovers to enjoy. They welcome aspiring and professional singers and encourage creativity and collaboration to bring beautiful music to life and the Vancouver Island Community.
Together, the two organizations have created this event where the community can enjoy the talented Nanaimo Opera performers and perhaps the Clay Tree staff and participants will join in on a song or two, with each organization hoping to raise awareness and funds.
*Market and refreshment garden (Wolf Brewery will be onsite) starting at 1pm with the musical program starting at 2pm*

Clay Tree Society is a charity and non-profit organization that offers assistance and support for adults with developmental disabilities. They promote a sense of purpose and belonging by creating programming that recognizes each person is unique and has the right to a life of quality and dignity.
