Nanaimo Concert Band consists of highly qualified volunteer musicians who play on woodwind, brass, and percussion instruments. One thing that hasn’t changed over the last 150 years, is its ability to attract a fine group of talented musicians. Known as the oldest continuously operating band in Canada, our Band proudly brought home the Gold award from a national competition in Ottawa in 2001 after competing at the highest level of Concert Band competition.
